Science Ambassadors

Why We Have Science Ambassadors – and Why They Matter

At Queen’s Drive, we believe that science should spark excitement, curiosity, and confidence. To help bring science to life for all pupils, we have introduced Science Subject Ambassadors, a group of enthusiastic children who are passionate about exploring how the world works.

Our Science Ambassadors play a big role in enriching science learning across the school. They support teachers during practical lessons, help organise resources, and encourage their peers to get hands-on with investigations. They also represent pupil voice by sharing ideas and feedback, helping us shape engaging science experiences that inspire every child.

Beyond the classroom, our ambassadors help lead events such as British Science Week, science fairs, and STEM challenges. They love sharing fun facts, demonstrating experiments, and motivating others to discover new interests.

By taking on this responsibility, our ambassadors develop teamwork, confidence, communication, and leadership skills, while helping spark a love of science in younger pupils.

It’s an exciting role that helps build a strong, positive science culture in our school, and we’re incredibly proud of the pupils who choose to take on this challenge.
