Education Visits and Visitors

Educational visits and visitors bring learning to life by offering practical experiences that reinforce and extend classroom teaching. Pupils are able to see, hear, and engage with concepts in real contexts, which deepens understanding and improves retention. For example, visits to museums, places of environmental study, or places of worship support subjects such as history, geography, and RE, while visiting authors, professionals, or artists enhance literacy, PSHE and creative arts. These opportunities support academic achievement, personal development, and social understanding, while helping pupils at Queen's Drive make real-world connections to their learning.

“No one will protect what they don’t care about, and no one will care about what they have never experienced.” - Sir David Attenborough – Naturalist & broadcaster.
