School Uniform
We encourage the wearing of school uniform to develop a sense of belonging and pride in our school and we ask parents to support us in this regard. Queen’s Drive children are always well presented and we are extremely proud of this aspect of our school life. Please read our current School Uniform policy for full details.
Our uniform is as follows:-
Winter
A school logoed sweatshirt or cardigan with a yellow logoed polo shirt.
Charcoal grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore. The tartan school skirt is optional.
Summer
As Autumn plus:
Light blue gingham summer dress.
Socks/Tights
Socks should be charcoal grey if worn with trousers or shorts. White socks with a skirt or pinafore. Tights should be charcoal grey in winter, and white in summer if wearing with a summer dress.
Shoes
Shoes should be black, sensible ‘school’ shoes and not trainers, boots or open-toed sandals.
Book Bag
A book bag/reading bag can be purchased from the school office. We do give themn a bag when they start school.
PE Kit
All children need a PE kit which should be kept in school at all times in a PE bag.
Official school yellow sports shirt* with the school badge on the front and your child’s house name on the back. Plain royal blue shorts. The top be purchased from the school office, where you can discover the house team your child has been put into.
All children need trainers for PE lessons. Children can wear black elasticated or velcro plimsolls for indoor use if they prefer.
Navy jogging trousers may be worn in cold weather for outdoor sessions only.
Swimming
All children need a swimming costume or trunks and a towel. Currently Years 2, 3 and 4 children go swimming.
A one piece, tight fitting swimming costume must be worn for swimming lessons when your child’s class is scheduled to take part. For girls, preferably the arms and legs should be exposed for freedom of movement, good technique and safety. Boys must wear trunks rather than loose fitting shorts for the same reasons.

Identity sell our polo shirts, cardigans and sweatshirts plus some other optional items.
We sell the PE tops. We also have a range of the optional tartan skirts at £9.00 until the stocks run out and also some of the royal blue shorts.
Please go to their website to create a log in. They deliver to schools every week so we will let you know if anything has come in for you. You can also have home delivery. I understand that the last date for a delivery before we finish in July is 21st June 2026.
