School Council
School Council Update, January 2026
At Queen’s Drive, our School Council consists of 11 children from Year 3 – Year 6. The School Council regularly meet with Mrs Farrell to put forward ideas from their classes and to discuss ideas to help improve our wonderful school and community.
Throughout this year, we are arranging a variety of fundraising activities to help raise money for school projects, resources and charities. So far, we have organised a cake sale, supported on stalls at the school winter fair and we are organising an upcoming Donut Day! We will have more themed events throughout the year.
One of the main aims of the School Council is to represent the views of all pupils. Council members help pupils feel heard and involved in decisions about school life, such as improving playground equipment and learning resources.
