Spring 1 was all about the cold! Our learning was inspired by our core text Jack Frost. Luckily for us we had snow and ice to explore on our first day back to school after the holidays!

We explored melting, looked at science experiments to melt ice. We looked at polar animals and compared the Artic to Preston. We We explored cold colours and looked at how to make different shades of blue by adding white and black.We also learnt about Winter. As part of this learning we made bird feeders and hung them in our forest area!
