Merry Christmas

Last week we performed our Christmas Wish songs and had a wonderful time doing so. We have also been busy learning lots and lots, we have looked at the primary and secondary colours in art, we have also responded to different paintings and talked about how different colours can make us feel differently. During our Computing work we learned that an Algorithm is a set of instructions to complete a task. Mr Pearce was replaced by a robot and we had to write instructions about how to make a jam sandwich. We had to think very carefully about lots of details!

In Mathematics we have continued to learn about addition and subtraction, found out about fractions, money and looked at the basics of capacity. Our English work has revolved around Zog we learnt all about his time at school before then writing instructions about how to cure Pearl's uncle from his Scarlet Fever. The children have loved it and completed some wonderful writing. This is just a small snapshot of our learning. We look forward to more blogs in the new year.
