Malala Yousafzai

In the autumn half term, Year 3 have explored the life story of Malala Yousafzai in order to write a biography of her. We began by reading her autobiographical book, Malala's Pencil. In this book Malala wished she had a magic pencil to draw things that would make the world a better place. In the end, she realises that she does have a magic pencil in the fact that her writing and her activism has helped children' education around the world. Year 3 have been considering what they would draw with a magic pencil to make the world a better place. We have been blown away with their thoughfulness.
