EYFS Planting and making Supertato

This week, we have learnt about what plants need to survive. We conducted an experiment to test what would happen if we gave a plant no water, and no light. We were shocked to see our poor sunflower leaves turn yellow and start to die.
We have Since then applied this knowledge to planting our very own vegetable garden and are keen to look after it and ensure we end up with beautiful crops!
We have also been looking at a fantastic story called "Supertato". This has led to some amazing writing as well as excellent creations including traps for the evil Pea and our very own vegetable friends.
