Explorer Vehicles

Last half term, Year 2 were looking at Vehicles in DT!

To finish off this topic, Class 6 carried out a hacksaw activity to make the wheels and chassis for their vehicles.

Children learnt how different vehicles move, different parts such as chassis and axles. We also learnt that wheels needed washers on either side to stop them from moving. 

We also used hacksaws and wooden dowels to make the actual wheels and axles for our cars.
