60th celebrations

As part of the school's 60th celebrations, Year 3 have been exploring cultural aspects of the 1960s. Class 7 have been looking at the 1967 Disney animated film, The Jungle Book. We have created our own art work based on the characters. Children sketched in pencil, painted with water colour and then highlighted detail in ink. Class 8 have been enjoying the 1969 children's educational program, Sesame Street. Chilrden created their own sketches of the characters and skillfully coloured them in using pencil crayons. We have all been wowed by their excellent artistry.
