Hello! Year 1 have been very busy the last few weeks with our art lessons! We have been lucky enough to have Queen’s Drive’s specialist art teacher with us every Wednesday to teach us all about a famous artist called Takashi Murakami!

Murakami is famous for creating bright, “superflat” flowers which are found on clothing, paintings & toys!

Year 1 have had a go at creating their very own Murakami flower with clay! Next week we will move on to painting it!

We have made flower dishes, plates & bowls! We hope you love them!
